what do i need to put a kayak carrier on a 2004 cavalier?
hey all, I have a 2004 chevy cavalier with a completely blank roof, no hooks or rails at all. I want to know what I need to put a stable kayak carrier on the top. to carry two kayaks at least. I went to yakima’s website to see what i could find, but i really didn’t know what i was looking for. any help would be appreciated.

Also, this has to be a PERMANENT rack. not the foam blocks that you can get at every shop around. I have tried those and they are HORRIBLE. they scratch your paint and you can;t go over 30mph with them. So no suggestions about the blocks please.
Well, you know you need a Yakima, so keep following up.
Head down to the local Yakima dealer. You will be looking for non-rain gutter towers, bar, and either saddles or saddles and rollers.
Call in a hands on expert on this one.
