Where is a good camping ground with kayaking and/or canoeing tours in NC/SC/GA/TN?
I’m looking for a camping site. We will be using tents and probably a group of 15-20. I was wondering if there is a camping site with kayaking/canoeing included in the price. Thanks ^_^
I don’t know of any wild rivers in the Appalachian region of South Carolina, but I would check out the following rivers and national forests online (try Google)
Georgia: Chatahoochee National Forest
Coosa River
Tennessee: Hiwasee River, French Broad River
North Carolina: French Broad River, Nantahala National Forest
All of these natural areas lie in the same basic region–Southeastern Tennessee, Northern Georgia, and Southwestern North Carolina
