Kayak Pedaling

Do you own a pedal kayak?
What is it like?
I don’t own one but I have used some friends Hobi kayaks.
I was surprised how well they moved when using the flippers.
I like the rudder but also like them on a normal kayak.
One nice thing is that you can tie down a paddle and choose whichever propulsion you want while you are underway. You can push the pedals so that the flippers are close to the bottom and don’t create a lot of drag, or you could even pull them out while out on a lake.
As with most traditional kayaks, longer ones seem to be easier to paddle or pedal.
The sit on top design is very stable but I prefer a traditional closed deck design.
