Canoe Kayak Location

would this be a reasonable request to make of a kayak club?
My water proof leg hasn’t been started yet ![]()
I really don’t want to give up any more time on the water. I found a great place close to my house that rents Kayaks and canoes by the hour. I’ve canoes since I was 7 and I started Kayaking in my mid teens. I’m comfortable in a boat on the water.
The only down side is, due to not having a car and the location not having a place to store my prosthetic leg I will have to go to the club on crutches. This means I cannot carry the Kayak to the water.
Would it be considered a reasonable request to ask one of the staff to take the boat and paddle to the water so I can get in it?
I think it is, but I haven’t done this before so if anyone has some insight that would be awesome.
Based on my experience of working at the office of a state park, I think it is definitely reasonable. We would get calls all the time for similar requests and the staff was always more than happy to oblige. We had kayaks, canoes and paddle boats on the lake and many of our calls were customers requesting help in getting them into the water. Once a staff member even agreed to paddle around in a boat with a ten year old who’s mother was unable to due to her bad back. We also accommodated completely absurd requests with a smile and a thank you.
